Missy began her teaching career at St. Wenceslaus Elementary, teaching Computer Education and PE for two years before moving to a 6th grade position. She worked part-time for Wahoo Public Schools as a Reading Specialist in the 4th through 6th grades before returning to the classroom at St. Patrick’s Catholic School in Elkhorn, NE. While there Missy taught 3rd grade for two years before moving to a Reading and Language Arts position for 6th through 8th grades. She rejoined the faculty at St. Wenceslaus for one year as a 5th grade teacher before becoming the School Counselor at Bishop Neumann.
Missy is married to a Bishop Neumann alumni, Bob (’78). They have 5 children, three of which have graduated from Neumann as well: Keith (‘09), Grace (‘12), and Becca (‘14). Our youngest two children, Hadley (sophomore) and Mary (7th grade) are currently enrolled at Neumann.
