Faculty – Nathan Roche

Bachelor of Arts – Majors: History & Secondary Education; Minor: Religious Studies; Mount Marty College

Master of Arts – Biblical Theology/ John Paul the Great Catholic University-Escondido, CA (Currently Pursuing)

Mr. Roche began his teaching career at Cozad Middle School in Cozad, NE, teaching Junior High Social Studies, and coaching as the head varsity softball coach for one year. He then worked as a substitute and the head varsity softball coach at Springfield-Platteview High School in Springfield, NE for one year.  Mr. Roche then moved to Brandon, SD to serve as a full-time Youth Director at Risen Savior Catholic Church.  God’s plan then brought him back to Nebraska and to Bishop Neumann.  Mr. Roche has been at Bishop Neumann for two years now, teaching American History, World Geography, Sociology, and Physical Education.  He also serves as an assistant coach for softball, and head coach for the junior high wrestling and track programs.

Mr. Roche is married to his college sweetheart, Sarah. They now live in Gretna where Sarah serves as an elementary teacher, and assistant volleyball and girls basketball coach.
